Humis is a dedicated initiative with a primary objective of leveraging Technology and Commitment to address the critical agricultural supply chain in our country. Recognizing the challenges imposed by the existing legacy system, Humis took a grassroots approach to tackle these issues. Their comprehensive engagement encompassed interactions with farmers, understanding their areas of distress, as well as engaging with the middlemen responsible for transporting the produce to the market, followed by the market intermediaries who exerted control over prices, and ultimately extending to the retailers and consumers. The initiative revealed a significant disparity wherein consumers were burdened with excessive costs, while farmers were receiving considerably less than their rightful entitlement.
